About the Workshop

This edition of the Pages & Pals Book Barter packs in a team-based problem-solving workshop by SkillSphere Education followed by a special festive storytelling activity and the signature Book Barter by Pages & Pals

Avengers Assemble (by SkillSphere Education):

  • Children invent their own original superhero - name, identity and unique power - then team up to form a squad with combined strengths
  • Using their squad's powers, they take on a real-world problem, learning how different strengths, brought together with a common purpose, build powerful solutions
  • The activity builds teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, creativity and communication

The Festival Architect Workshop:

  • This festive season, children become “Festival Architects” - diving into the sounds, smells and magic of their favourite Indian festival and reimagining it for the future.
  • How it works:
    • Capture the Magic: Children write the sensory details - smells, sweets, sounds - that make their favourite festival unforgettable.
    • Invent the Future: They propose one genius "Festival Upgrade" to make celebrations cleaner, greener or more joyful for everyone.
    • The Takeaway: A beautifully designed, premium A4 Festival Blueprint, ready to frame at home.

The Book Barter:

  • Bring a favourite book, share why you love it, and exchange it for someone else's treasured read. A fun way to discover new stories and build confidence in sharing ideas.

The Setting:

  • Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, cosy reading corners, great coffee, and a vibrant community of readers — The White Crow Books & Coffee is the perfect backdrop for a morning of creativity, stories, and connection.
