About the Workshop

Give your child the thrill of building a real smart robot from scratch! In this exciting hands-on robotics program, children will learn how ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles, how motors and circuits work together, and how robots make decisions to move independently. Students will assemble, wire, test, and program their own Obstacle Avoiding Robot while developing logical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills in a fun and engaging environment.

What Kids will Build

Obstacle Avoiding Robot
A smart robot that detects obstacles using ultrasonic sensors and automatically changes direction to move safely.

IN-DEPTH FOCUS  and INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

  • Each student builds their own robot
  • Students build and master one complete Obstacle Avoiding Robot from scratch – understand every component, every connection and how it works together to avoid obstacles.

WHAT KIDS WILL BUILD & LEARN

  • UNDERSTAND SENSORS
    Learn how ultrasonic sensors detect distance and obstacles.
  • BUILD & WIRE
    Assemble the robot chassis and connect motors, sensors and circuits.
  • MOTORS & MOVEMENT
    Control DC motors to move forward, turn left or right and stop.
  • LOGIC & DECISIONS
    Understand the decision-making logic behind obstacle avoidance.
  • TEST & IMPROVE
    Test the robot on different tracks, debug and improve performance.

    Build confidence by completing a real working robot from start to finish.
