About the Class

Jumpstart your child’s coding journey with this 10-session introductory course designed specially for young learners. Through interactive, beginner-friendly lessons, children will explore the exciting world of coding using Scratch, a visual programming language developed by MIT. 

This coding class is designed to introduce kids to the world of programming through fun, interactive, and creative projects using Scratch. Children will learn to build games, animations, and stories—while developing essential problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

What is Scratch?
Scratch uses simple drag-and-drop blocks, allowing kids to create stories, animations, and games—without needing to write complicated code. It helps build problem-solving skills, creativity, and logical thinking—all while having fun!

As the mother of two young daughters, Bhavna advocates timely introduction of coding to kids. She believes that kids’ creativity along with the power of computing can enable them to create magic and solve many problems of the future! 

She’s even written a book titled ‘Floppy Learns to Code’ to introduce the subject in the manner kids learn best – storytelling!
