Curated Classes & Activities for Children Kidiaree

Python Code | Trial Session

Where Young Coders Become Future Tech Leaders

About the Class

An introductory session designed to familiarize children with Python programming through guided instruction and a fun, hands-on activity.

For Children:
• One-session Python trial
• Introduction to basic Python commands and concepts
• Creative activity using the Turtle library
• Simple problem-solving through code
• Suitable for beginners; no prior coding experience required

For Parents (10-Minute Orientation):

Parents join briefly to understand:

  • Trial session structure and next learning steps
  • Concepts introduced during the session
  • Evaluation of the child’s prior Python knowledge (if any) to ensure appropriate learning placement

Ideal for young learners taking their first steps into coding and parents exploring structured programming learning for their child. The trial session can also helps in identifying which Mindchamps Python program best fits your child's learning style and pace.

About the Program: My First Python Code - Introduction to Programming

My First Python Code is a beginner-friendly program that introduces students to the fundamentals of programming using Python. Designed for school readiness and real-world relevance, the course helps students understand how code works through logic building, problem-solving, and hands-on projects.

What Children Will Learn:

  • Introduction to Python programming
  • Writing basic input and output programs
  • Understanding variables and data types
  • Using arithmetic, logical, and conditional statements
  • Working with loops and functions
  • Applying programming concepts to solve real-world problems

Program Structure:

Children progress through three structured Python levels, moving from fundamentals to real-world applications.

  • Level 1 – Python Basics builds a strong foundation by introducing coding logic, variables, conditions, loops, and simple graphics using Turtle.
  • Level 2 – Python Advanced deepens understanding through functions and data structures, helping children write organized, logic-driven programs.
  • Level 3 – Python Applications focuses on file handling, events, and interactive programming, enabling learners to apply Python to real-world scenarios and build complete applications.
  • Level 4 – Game Development Using Python Introduces advanced game design using Turtle and GUI programming with Tkinter, where children build interactive, logic-driven games and user interfaces.
  • Level 5 – Python with AI Explores Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision using Python libraries, enabling children to work with images, videos, face detection, and real-world AI applications.

Across the program, children create exciting projects such as games, drawing tools, simulations, and a final Classic Snake Game, reinforcing both creativity and problem-solving skills.

Program Details:

  • Age Group: 12+ years
  • Level: 5 Levels
  • Duration: 45 sessions × 1 hour
  • Platform: Cloud-based IDE / IDLE
  • Projects: Multiple hands-on coding projects
