About the Program: My First Logo Code – Introduction to Text-Based Coding

My First Logo Code is a beginner-friendly program that introduces children to Text-Based Coding using the Logo language. Through turtle graphics, children learn how code can create shapes, patterns, and animations while building strong logical and mathematical thinking skills.

What Children Will Learn:

  • Basic commands to move the turtle
  • Drawing shapes using angles and geometry concepts
  • Using colors to fill shapes
  • Understanding sequences and loops
  • Introduction to variables and procedures
  • Using arithmetic operators
  • Creating simple animations through code

Program Details:

  • Age Group: 7–9 years
  • Duration: 10 sessions × 1 hour
