A live introductory session to coding through animation, play, and storytelling using Code.org and MIT Scratch.

Demo-Session / Orientation: 

  • One-session introductory animation-coding trial
  • Learn how animations are created through guided demonstrations
  • Explore sprites, loops, conditional blocks, and broadcast blocks
  • See examples of shareable animation projects with characters, sounds, and actions
  • Designed to spark creativity, sequential thinking, and coding curiosity
  • No reading or prior coding experience required.
  • Parents are welcome to join the session for a 10-min interaction with the teacher to understand: 
    • Class structure and learning flow
    • Concepts covered and skill development
    • How animation is used to build logic and creativity

About the Program: My First Animation

My First Animation is a beginner-friendly coding workshop that introduces children to animation and programming using visual Block-Based Coding.

What Children Will Learn:

  • Computer basics and coding fundamentals
  • Sequential thinking and logical flow
  • Using loops and conditions
  • Creating animations and interactive stories
  • Building games and digital projects
  • Expressing ideas through storytelling and creativity
