Art one week. Feelings the next. Time travel to close.
P.L.A.Y. and Kreative Tots come together for a three-week summer camp for children, where every week brings a completely new world to step into, explore, and make something from.
Themes change weekly and no two sessions look the same. Each week is designed around a big idea — art, feelings, or history — explored through stories, craft, movement, and imaginative play. Children can join one week or all three.
How the Camp Unfolds
Week 1 — Artist Around the World · 12–15 May
Four days, four legendary artists — each one a doorway into a different way of seeing the world.
- Henri Matisse — an ocean-themed session with bold colours, playful shape cut-outs, and painting with scissors
- Frida Kahlo — her story, a flower crown, and a self-portrait colouring session
- Vincent van Gogh — sunflower art that's bold, bright, and entirely their own
- Pablo Picasso — faces that don't follow rules, exploring shapes, colours, and imagination freely
Week 2 — Big Feelings · 19–22 May
A week that gives feelings a name, a colour, and a place to go — told through stories, play, and gentle reflection.
- Meet Your Feelings — emotion charades, a feelings wheel, and The Color Monster story
- Expressing Emotions Creatively — body mapping, breathing exercises, and finger puppets
- Building Emotional Resilience — a calming jar, a mindfulness walk, and a story about it being okay not to be okay
- Celebrating Brave Heart — badges, an emotion reflection round, and a send-off that honours every feeling
Week 3 — Time Traveler · 26–29 May
From dinosaurs to outer space — four stops through history that children will not want to leave.
- The Prehistoric Era — dino discovery and the world before humans
- Ancient Egypt — pyramid secrets and the mysteries of a civilisation that built to last
- Medieval Times — knights, castles, and the world of chivalry and armour
- Victorian to Space Age — inventors, explorers, and the leap from steam engines to the stars
