Improv Playground – Think Fast, Act Faster | Khar

Arts academy offering music, dance, and theatre programs focused on creative expression, skill development, and joyful learning.

About the Workshop

No script. No plan. Just whatever comes next. This fast-paced improv workshop for children aged 10–16 years where quick thinking, spontaneity, and a lot of laughter collide — through drama games and scene-building that nobody sees coming, including the performers.

Facilitated by Small Tales Academy, this workshop steps into the world of unscripted storytelling. Children learn to respond, adapt, and commit to a moment — all in a laughter-filled setting where there are no wrong moves.

Drama games

Fast, fun, and deliberately unpredictable — games designed to loosen up any room.

  • Improv games that build spontaneity and listening skills
  • No right answers — just whatever the moment calls for

Spontaneous scene - building

Stories created in real time — with whoever is in the room and whatever idea arrives first.

  • Characters, conflict, and resolution invented on the spot — no script, no safety net
  • Learning to keep things moving even when nothing goes to plan

What your child takes away:

  • Sharper quick thinking and creative problem-solving
  • Greater confidence in speaking and performing
  • Stronger listening and collaborative skills
  • Comfort with uncertainty — and the ability to turn it into something
