Curated Classes & Activities for Children Kidiaree

The Great India Quest Summer Camp

Little Owls Club builds confidence, emotional intelligence, and life skills through play-based, joyful learning.

About the Workshop

India has always told its stories through art — on walls, in cloth, in the lines of a Mandala. With this 5-day camp, children travel across India's storytelling traditions — Akbar-Birbal, Panchatantra, Vikram and Betal — and explore the art forms that have lived alongside them. Every session pairs a folk tale with a traditional Indian art form, from block printing and Madhubani to Warli and Mandala.

In this mix of interactive storytelling, hands-on traditional art, cultural games and activities, children leave with both a story they'll remember and something beautiful they made themselves.

How the Camp Unfolds

Day 1 — Akbar & Birbal · Block Printing

Tales of wit and justice to open — and an art form that's been stamping its mark on India for centuries.

  • Storytelling — the sharp humour and quiet wisdom of the Akbar-Birbal tales
  • Art — block printing, where children discover how repeating patterns come to life

Day 2 — Tenali Rama · Madhubani

Clever thinking meets intricate art — a session that rewards patience and a sharp mind in equal measure.

  • Storytelling — Tenali Rama's legendary quick thinking, told with all the twists intact
  • Art — Madhubani, where fine lines and filled spaces build something quietly extraordinary

Day 3 — Vikram & Betal · Tie & Dye

Mysteries that don't have easy answers, and an art form that surprises even the person making it.

  • Storytelling — Vikram and Betal's tricky riddles, where the fun is in the thinking
  • Art — tie and dye, twisted and turned until something unexpected emerges

Day 4 — Panchatantra · Warli Art

Animal wisdom and tribal art — a quieter session that goes deeper.

  • Storytelling — Panchatantra fables, where animals carry lessons that still hold today
  • Art — Warli, where everyday life is captured in the simplest lines imaginable

Day 5 — Hitopadesha · Mandala

The camp closes with a story that finds meaning in small things, and art that asks for full attention.

  • Storytelling — Hitopadesha tales, finding the profound in the everyday
  • Art — Mandala, where focus and creativity meet in circles that keep going

A perfect blend of culture, creativity, and fun—where every child learns, creates, and connects with India’s rich heritage.
