About the Workshop
Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students step into the role of diplomats and debate global issues. Through research, negotiation, and formal debates, students develop essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, leadership, and global awareness.
This 5-day interactive workshop introduces young learners to the world of Model United Nations while building confidence, communication, and teamwork skills through fun, guided activities.
Program Outline:
- Art of Introduction: Students learn to confidently introduce themselves and their assigned country through engaging activities like “We Are the World.”
- Understanding Diplomacy & Collaboration: Participants practice public speaking while learning values of respect, empathy, listening, and teamwork.
- Case Studies on Global Issues: Children explore simple global challenges such as climate change, education, and health while discussing possible solutions.
- Art of Asking Questions & Researching: Students develop curiosity and basic research skills, learning how to ask thoughtful questions and find key information.
- Junior MUN Simulation: The program concludes with a guided MUN simulation where students discuss ideas, propose solutions, and experience diplomacy in action.
