Messy Wonder

Themed birthdays and workshops filled with sensory discoveries, playful storytelling and art that goes home with its proud little creator

A story to step into, colors to explore and little hands with plenty to discover—welcome to Messy Wonder. Founded by Vriti Agarwal, this Mumbai-based initiative blends storytelling, sensory play, art and imagination through workshops and themed birthdays. From car-inspired pit stops to Lion King adventures, its celebrations turn a theme into something children can touch, explore and create. Little Wonders welcomes 18 months–2.5 years; Messy Wonder Club caters to 2.5–4 years. Published sessions include Vivarea in Mahalaxmi/Agripada and Tardeo.

Dress for a little mess—and plenty of exploring.

• Little racers: Car-themed sensory play with colors, textures and little pit stops to explore.

• Budding artists: Cake painting, T-shirt painting and games with friends, plus creations to take home.

• Pride Lands adventures: Lion King-inspired sensory play and hands-on discoveries. One featured birthday included a puppet show by @troikamusic.

• Everyday wonder: Regular workshops combine storytelling, process art, movement and open-ended exploration.

• Festive discoveries: Special workshops have included Halloween and Diwali themes.

The theme is only the beginning. Messy Wonder’s shared celebrations show how cars, art and favorite characters can inspire activities that keep little hands busy and imaginations moving.

• More ways to explore: Painting, sensory materials, stories and games give children different ways to join the fun.

• Space for their ideas: Regular workshops encourage children to experiment and make choices, without one fixed result to copy.

• “Look what I made!” moments: Art-themed parties have included take-home creations children can proudly show off.

• An extra spark: A Lion King birthday featured a puppet show by @troikamusic—a collaboration to enquire about separately.
